Lynn Peterson has drawn horses and wildlife since she was three years old, selling her first painting at age 5. "Animals have always been the focus of my subject matter. I love to try and capture their expression through their eyes and to strive for every minute detail in my work"
Becoming a popular new artist for collectors, Lynn's work has been sold all over the world. They are drawn to her sense of detail and execution as well as the intimate feeling of "being there" with her subjects. Her goal is to help animals along the way by supporting horse and wolf rescues by donating percentages of her originals and prints to their causes. "I have been intimately involved in a number of horse rescue cases and it breaks my heart that any of God's creatures have to endure suffering at the hands of man. If I can help in any way to end that suffering or further wildlife education to future generations then my art and life has purpose.
I recently was invited to an E-bay group of talented artists called "Art for Critters" I am so
honored to be involved with their cause to help animals through donations of percentages of their artwork." Lynn recently "Went for her dream" buy selling all she owned and along with her husband and young son moved to a place where she could concentrate on her art 100%. "It has been a life long dream. I am scared to death yet so excited I can't sleep at night. I have wanted this my whole life and the ideas for artwork are bubbling over in my head. I hope to support myself with my dream to honor the talent and support of my loving parents, brother and husband."
