Georgina Bedwell

I was born in England and I moved to Canada with my family when I was a child. I grew up in a very large family, which gave me a thick skin and a strange sense of humour. My house was always loud, always full of kids, it looked like a menagerie with the various pets we had, and very often it looked like a bomb hit it within minutes of having cleaned up.

I was lucky to have grown up how I did. Its influenced my personality and my art. Its given me a great love of animals and the environment. I also learnt early on to march to the beat of my own drum.

My art is mostly self taught, though I studied graphic design for two years which included some life drawing. I graduated in another field, in which I worked in briefly before I decided that life is too short to spend it doing anything you don't love. I have recently written some children's stories for a national writers competition. I would love to see them published. I am currently a self-employed artist.
